Horton, Inc., has hired Michel Locquegnies as director of international business development. Locquegnies will focus on Horton’s continued development of international markets, particularly Asia and Latin America.
He has more than 25 years of international business experience, including opening and managing businesses in Europe and Asia, as well as working with OEMs, distributors and value-added resellers on a global basis.
“We are fortunate to have on board an international business development director with Michel’s depth of experience,” says Geert Henk Touw, president and CEO, Horton. “Michel’s experience with international markets, including Asia, will serve the company well as we concentrate on increasing exposure for Horton’s engine cooling technologies ¾ the broadest line available in the industry.”
Most recently, Locquegnies was with Cenco, Inc. a New Brighton, Minn.-based supplier of jet engine testing equipment. With Cenco, Locquegnies managed global OEMs including GE Aviation and Rolls Royce Aero Engines, and global airlines including Lufthansa and Air France. He also worked for Plasmon PLC, a UK-headquartered network data storage company. During his 10 years with Plasmon, Locquegnies established OEMs, distributors and value-added resellers in China, Japan, Korea and other Asia countries.
