Webb Transit Hires Severe-Duty Fleet Manager

Russ Lucas has been hired to fill the new position of Severe-Duty Fleet Manager for Webb Wheel Products, Inc. – Transit Business Unit. Lucas will report directly to Randy McGuire, president.  Lucas’ core responsibilities will be to identify, develop and expand fleet sales within the severe duty markets. Additionally, he will promote Webb products through focused customer attention, grow Webb’s severe-duty sales, coordinate product improvements, analyze market needs and trends and participate as an integral business team manager.

In making this announcement, McGuire notes the experience Lucas brings to Webb “Russ is a highly experienced, customer relationship builder who brings a great deal of knowledge to Webb as we begin our exciting, new emphasis on the refuse and construction serve duty truck markets.”

Prior to joining Webb Transit, Lucas worked for Telma SA for 15 years most recently holding the position of Manager of National Accounts Department responsible for launching the new department and developing new customers, both at the fleet level and original equipment manufacturing.  Past employment also included five years with Republic Truck Equipment as Sales Manager.
