Additional Distributors Commit To HDX SiMan

HDX Services, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Datalliance, announced  that three additional distributors, CBS Parts, Decarolis Heavy Duty Parts and Mutual Wheel have committed to use the HDX SiMAN service. HDX SiMAN is a service that provides a single sign-on solution which allows distributors to access and utilize extranet sites for all heavy-duty manufacturers.

“Since the launch of HDX SiMAN in September, we continue to grow the number of distributor users,” explains Edward Kuo, executive director of HDX Services. “HDX SiMAN gives them significantly more visibility to the different online tools offered by the multiple manufacturers on the service, and allows them to easily access each tool quickly and conveniently.”

HD distributors currently using HDX SiMAN include CATCO, CW Carter/Westpac, Fleet Brake, Fleet Services, Ft. Garry Industries, Inland Truck Parts, Midwest Wheel Companies, Point Spring and Driveshaft and Stone Truck Parts. Existing manufacturers participating in the HDX SiMAN service include companies such as ArvinMeritor, Bendix, Federal Mogul, Gates, Goodyear, Haldex, SKF and Tectran.

Manufacturer extranets allow distributor users to retrieve their specific account information, including negotiated pricing, product availability and order status. HDX SiMAN offers these distributor users a menu from a single sign-on process to access multiple manufacturer sites. This service helps users access the information they need and answer their questions easily and efficiently. HDX SiMAN also offers better security of account information by managing and communicating personnel changes such as new hires, transfers and terminations directly to suppliers.
