Dee Zee Selects Datalliance VMI

Datalliance announced that Dee Zee, Inc. has selected the Datalliance VMI service as the foundation technology for its vendor managed inventory program.  Dee Zee is the first supplier in the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) industry to deliver a VMI service for their distributors. Dee Zee expects VMI to help them deliver additional value to their customers, improve supply chain efficiency, support aggressive new product sales goals, and secure their position as a category leader.

Jason Mrachina, vice president sales and marketing, states, “Working closely with Midwest Wheel, one of our key distributors, we learned firsthand how VMI can drive sales, service and profitability for our customers. As a company, Dee Zee is focused on innovation, so we knew for some time that VMI was something that we needed and wanted to pursue. We did our research to identify a capable and reliable service provider that had both experience and success in our type of industry. We found that provider in Datalliance as they are clearly the leading VMI service provider for our industry and for other closely related industries. We are very pleased to be the first supplier in the SEMA industry space to offer this benefit to our key customers.”

Max Buchanan, auto/truck industry director, Datalliance, adds,: “Datalliance is excited to be introducing our proven VMI service to the SEMA space through Dee Zee.  We are happy with the positive distributer response and look forward to helping Dee Zee and their customers enjoy the business benefits that VMI has to offer. The SEMA industry segment is built around innovation, and we applaud Dee Zee for embracing the opportunity to take customer collaboration to the next level.”
