Eaton Manufacturing Releases EverTough Product Line

Updated Jan 21, 2011

EatonThe Eaton Corporation released a new line of drivetrain components designed specifically for the aftermarket Tuesday during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2011 at The Mirage in Las Vegas. Eaton hopes the EverTough brand can provide aftermarket customers with a new outlet to fill supply needs.

The first product released under the EverTough brand is a new heavy-duty clutch designed specifically for the aftermarket. The new clutches have torque ratings available up to 2,050 ft/lb, and are available in both 14- and 15.5-inch designs. The clutches come with a one-year unlimited mileage warranty.

“The new EverTough components will complement Eaton’s industry leaving production parts currently available in the aftermarket,” says John Beering, vice president and general manager of Eaton’s Clutch and Aftermarket business unit. “The pricing will be competitively positioned to allow our fleet and dealer customers the opportunity to carry a complete portfolio of Eaton’s new and aftermarket clutch products.”

Beering says the new clutches have been designed for the second replacement and second owner. The new clutches have lube intervals set at 25,000 miles to reduce maintenance cost.
