Phillips Industries has promoted Rob Phillips to Vice President of Global Operations. Phillips started with the company 15 years. He introduced lean disciplines and increasing employee participation in problem solving to improve production levels at all Phillips operations. Under his leadership, Phillips has consolidated three locations into one state-of-the-art facility in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., added its company-owned Canadian Warehouse in Toronto, relocated a factory from Dallas, Texas to Saltillo, Mexico, and opened Shanghai Phillips in China.
