Mitchell 1 has made changes to its Repair-Connect online diagnostic program. Originally designed for 10L and above diesel engines, Mitchell has now included diagnostic information and a troubleshooting kit for Class 4-8 trucks using gas and diesel engines. The company announced the changes this week at the 2011 Technology and Maintenance Council in Tampa.
Repair-Connect is said to provide seven tabs of information when a diagnostic trouble code is inputted.
Mitchell 1 has also announced it is entering a partnership with Zonar Systems to integrate Repair-Connect into Zonar’s Ground Traffic Control software to offer Zonar Rx. The new product is said to communicate trouble codes from an engine ECM and provides service information used to diagnose and repair the program.
“The relationship with Zonar and the development of this new offering is a natural evolution for both companies. Integrating our Repair-Connect application with Zonar’s ECM data capturing capability takes diagnostics and repair information to a whole new level,” says Dave Costantino of Mitchell 1.
