Webb Severe Duty To Market Vortex Drums In Aftermarket

Webb Severe Duty has announced its Vortex brake drums will be offered as direct replacements for its previous MAN transit axle parts. The 74040B Vortex drum will be offered as a replacement for 64040B, 74089B and 64089B brake drums, and the 70000 series Vortex drums will supersede previous part numbers for all MAN axle applications, the company says. According to Webb, Vortex drums are lighter than standard iron drums yet maintain strength and heat management characteristics.
