Ingersoll Rand Debuts New Impact Sockets

Ingersoll Rand recently expanded its industrial-grade impact socket line to include a 1.5 in. and 2.5 in. socket and a # 5 drive impact socket spline. Ingersoll’s impact socket line now has more than 1,000 individual sockets, socket sets and associated accessories. Drive sizes range from a ¼ in. to 2.5 in., and the spline drive comes with SAE metric output sizes up 7-5/8 in. or 200 mm. The socket line also includes deep and standard length sockets.

“We’ve continued to expand our socket offering over the years, and we are thrilled to introduce the new 1.5 in., 2.5 in. and #5 spline drive impact sockets,” says Chancelor Wyatt, global category manager for Ingersoll Rand.

Each impact socket is laser-etched or roll-stamped, which Ingersoll Rand says is designed to allow users to see the socket size after multiple uses. The sockets are molded from Chromoly steel, and come with a lifetime warranty.
