Truck-Lite introduces CSA assistance program

Updated Mar 28, 2011

Truck LiteTruck-Lite has released a training program designed to offer assistance in meeting CSA 2010 regulations. The new multi-faceted program is called “For CSA, Choose Wisely – Choose Truck Lite,” and is said to provide solutions for all lighting-related problems.

“Vehicle lighting is a prominent area of emphases in the CSA vehicle maintenance category acting as a flag to enforcement and potentially leading to a vehicle review. The importance in specifying and using reliable and trustworthy products should be given significant attention,” says Truck-Lite’s Bob Ives, vice president of marketing.

According to Truck-Lite, differences between brands of truck lights can cause major confusion under CSA rules. Truck-Lite’s new program is designed to distinguish the differences and provide solutions when new lights and repairs are needed.

Truck-Lite plans to release a series of materials as part of its program in the coming weeks. The materials will include a lighting brochure with FMCSA regulations, a website with frequently asked CSA lighting questions and onsite customer training tools.
