According to Utility, the new website has a wider viewing area, improved site search capabilities and an advanced navigation system. Added features include a new media gallery, more product specification highlights, and the ability to request a quote from a Utility dealer directly from the website.
The dealer locator on the new website also has a new feature that the company says incorporates Google Map technology when a user searches for a dealer by zip code, city, and state or by dealer name. Additionally, the dealer locator is mobile-friendly when logging onto utdealers.mobi on an Apple iPhone, Android, Blackberry or with any web-enabled smartphone. Utility says users are able to search through a comprehensive dealer network of over 105 locations in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
Utility also has developed QR codes for finding information easier and much faster than typing in a website address on a smartphone device. According to Utility, a scan or photo of a code is taken with a QR reader using a smartphone and the application automatically directs to Utility information.
