Phillips Industries strengthens sales force

Updated Jun 20, 2011

Phillips Industries has made multiple changes to its sales force.

The company has added Randy Long, Mathew Sayre and Nick Tosie as new territory sales managers and promoted John Nugent to Western region sales manager. All four will report to Randy Walker, national sales manager, aftermarket division.

“All four of these gentlemen bring outstanding experience and work ethic to their new positions with Phillips” Walker says. “We know they will strengthen our relationships with our dealers and their customers. It’s important for us to maintain strong communication links with our distributor and the end users of our products so that we can develop products and services that help them meet their goals. John, Randy, Mathew and Nick will certainly help us do that.”

Long will cover Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana in his new position. Before joining Phillips, Long worked for WLS Lighting, Intra-Tech/Midtronics and Hendrickson.

Sayre will cover South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois in his position. Before coming to Phillips, he spent 20 years with Madison Truck Sales.

Tosie joins Phillips as a representative for Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska. Tosie most recently was employed at Stewart and Stephenson, and also has worked for Detroit Diesel, Freightliner, Kenworth and Volvo.

Nugent has been with Phillips since 2006. Prior to his promotion, he was a territory sales manager covering the southern United States. In his new role, Nugent will be responsible for building Phillips aftermarket sales in the western states.
