Double Coin Tires and China Manufacturers Alliance announced its partnership with Landoll Corp. to supply Double Coin Tires for all Landoll trailer models. “Landoll began using Double Coin’s 10R 17.5 tire, and we realized the overall quality within a short period of time,” says Jim Ladner, sales manager for Landoll’s Transportation Products Division.
Standard tires for Landoll’s trailer models include Double Coin’s RT500 with sizes from 10R17.5, 255/70R 22.5 and 235/75R 17.5. “The demands placed on the tires with this type of equipment are substantial, and we are gratified that Landoll and their customers recognize the quality and value that Double Coin tires represent,” says Walt Weller, CMA vice president.
Landoll customers have been using more of the 255/70R 22.5 tires on their removable goose neck trailers. The 10R17.5 tires recently have been replaced with the 235/75R 17.5 tires for higher capacity, which allows Landoll to offer a gross axle weight rating of 21,420 lbs. for heavy-haul customers operating permit loads more than 80,000 lbs.
“These days, our customers are hauling heavier loads within longer distances, and Double Coin offers us a wide range of tire sizes for different types of capacities,” Ladner says. “This will allow our customers more flexibility to match the right tire with their application.”
