Polar names Weybright VP/supply chain management

Polar Corp. on Tuesday, June 21, announced that Russ Weybright has been named vice president of supply chain management. Based at the company’s manufacturing facility in Opole, Minn., Weybright is responsible for procurement, planning and logistics at the company’s Polar Tank Trailers and Polar Service Centers businesses.

“For the past 18 months, Russ has consulted with Polar and helped us align our supply chain and distribution strategies with our plans for growth,” says Ted J. Fick, president and chief executive officer of Polar Corp. “We’re excited that Russ has joined our executive team as we put his insights into action.”

Weybright has spent his entire 30-year professional career in supply chain management and plant operations. Prior to forming his own consulting firm in 2006, he held executive positions in operations and supply chain management at Katun Corp., Johnson & Johnson, Eaton Corp. and ABB.
