Accuride joins Russell 2000 Index

Updated Jun 29, 2011

AccurideThe Accuride Corporation has announced its stock has been added to the Russell 2000 Index.

“Accuride’s inclusion in the Russell 2000 Index, following our December 2010 listing on the New York Stock Exchange, reflects Accuride’s increasing strength and stability, as well as our commitment to continued growth and increased profitability,” says Rick Dauch, Accuride president and CEO.

The annual reconstitution of Russell’s U.S. equity indexes captures the 3000 largest U.S. stocks, ranking them by market capitalization to create the broad market Russell 3000 Index. The Russell 2000 Index is a subset of the Russell 3000 Index and measures the performance of the small-cap segment of the market, Accuride says. Russell U.S. Indexes allow investors to track current and historical market performance by specific market segment (large cap/small cap) or investment style (growth/value).
