In his new role Wiechmann will be responsible for managing the design, development, and testing of Webb OE wheel-end products that include disc wheel hubs, brake drums and rotors, the company says.
“(Wiechmann) brings solid experience and academic background to his new position that will enhance our capabilities to meet the market’s demands for high performance wheel end products,” says Kent Finkbiner, Business Unit president. “With new braking regulations and additional attention to safety under the new CSA regulations, we know that equipment buyers want exceptional performance from the products we supply. Our engineering department under Adam’s direction will continue Webb’s tradition of industry leading wheel-end products as well as continuing technology enhancements.”
Wiechmann joined Webb Wheel in 2008 as a senior product engineer, and prior to that he worked at General Motors.
