Ancra International, in a strategic move to gain greater presence in the international markets, announced that Ralph Abato, vice president of sales and marketing has accepted the new position of vice president of International Sales for its Cargo Systems Division. In his new role, Abato will concentrate on expanding Ancra’s presence in Mexico, South America, Europe and Asia as well as focusing on continued sales growth in Canada. Abato’s long history and experience in cargo control will prove to be instrumental for continued growth in these key international markets, the company says.

Additionally, Jim Calico has accepted the position of vice president of sales and marketing for all of US sales for both Ancra Cargo and S-Line. Calico’s extensive knowledge of the trucking industry, along with his 30+ years of industry and business leadership, will position him well in continuing Ancra’s growth as the market leader in the transportation industry, the company believes.
Reporting to Abato in his new role will be the Ancra regional sales managers, customer service and the S-Line sales and marketing team.
