Jacobs Vehicle Systems was named “Best Plant Worldwide” for 2011 by its parent company.
Jacobs says it is pleased to be recognized as the best plant given the tremendous competition from a portfolio of premier operating companies.
According to Jacobs, the award is based on its performance as measured against its core value drivers, which include metrics for safety, quality, delivery and associate development.
“Jacobs accomplished these results through continued practice and implementation of our lean business system”, says Rob Tykal. “Our associates have worked hard to position Jacobs for success in all types of economic climates and this award confirms we are on the right track.”
