Accuride hires VP of supply chain management

LangAccuride Corporation has appointed Mary E. Blair as senior vice president of supply chain management, effective immediately.

According to Accuride, Blair will be responsible for the company’s global activities in the areas of strategic sourcing, logistics, supplier quality and development and inventory control and planning. She will report directly to Rick Dauch, Accuride president and CEO.

“Based on (Blair’s) successful leadership of transforming initiatives in procurement, logistics, and supplier development, we are confident that she will make an immediate and lasting impact on Accuride’s supply chain and logistics performance,” Dauch says. “Her history of building effective teams will support the creation of a strengthened supply chain that meets our customers’ requirements, while applying her success in generating savings for transportation industry leaders will enable us to stem inflationary pressures and improve our margins, quality and competitiveness.”

Blair joins Accuride from UCI International, where she had served as a vice president for leading supply chain’s for UCI’s four business units.
