Lindgren, along with Horton President and Chief Executive Officer Geert Henk Touw and Tom Hujik, director of aftermarket/field sales for North America, presented the six millionth fan drive to FleetPride executives at a ceremonial event in Grapevine, Texas. FleetPride officials at the event included Robert Lindley, vice president of supply chain; Steve Vaughn, director of marketing; Rick Jackson, product manager; Bob Thorpe, corporate sourcing manager; and Jessica Shaffer, buyer. ”We are honored that Horton is celebrating this significant achievement with us,” says Lindley. “FleetPride is pleased to offer Horton’s reliable high-performance products to our customers throughout the United States.”
Horton opened its Britton plant in 1974 and employs 180 people today. This facility manufactures Horton’s VMaster and Stratis Viscous, EC450 and EC600 Electromagnetic, DM Advantage On/Off and Two-Speed and Remanufactured Fan Drives as well as repair and conversion kits. Including the six millionth fan drive produced at the Britton facility, Horton has manufactured a total of 17 million fan drives around the world.
