Webb Wheel Products and Tiger Tool are set to be featured in an episode of “Motorhead Garage,” airing on Fox Sports at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 11 and 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 12. Webb Wheel Products will be demonstrating proper installation techniques for heavy-duty truck and trailer disc wheel hubs, and Tiger Tool will be demonstrating proper wheel stud installation and removal.
Marshall Boheler, Webb Wheel vice president of sales and marketing, and Johnathon Capps, product engineering manager from Webb’s Aftermarket business unit, will demonstrate the critical steps required to install a brake drum properly in a 10-stud stud-piloted mounting system. They point out the proper procedure to follow when installing the brake drum so it’s done right, eliminating problems for the trucker.
“Webb takes every opportunity to deliver technical advice to the industry,” says Boheler. “We understand ‘Motorhead Garage’ has a significant growing viewership, so we wanted to be part of one of their episodes. We believe our demonstration will be very useful to those watching.”
Kirk Jansen, Production Manager, for Tiger Tool International Incorporated will show how to remove and install of wheel studs in just minutes. Jansen will be using Tiger Tool’s 10608 Heavy-Duty Wheel Stud Service Kit, which delivers up to 10 tons of pressing power to help remove wheel hubs quickly and effectively.
