Fleet Brake to acquire assets of Page Brake

Fleet BrakeFleet Brake has announced it has entered into a binding letter of intent to acquire the assets of Page Brake Warehouse and its related entities.

It is intended by the two parties that the LOI will be superseded by a formal definitive agreement, with closure expected prior to Jan. 31, 2012.

Fleet Brake says its intention is to re-open the Page Brake locations as branches of Fleet Brake USA L.L.C.  Fleet Brake says the LOI is entered into subject to approval of the State of Utah’s courts.

Lee Greer, a former principal of Greer’s Truck Parts (acquired by Page in 2005) and a former branch manager, regional manager and operations manager of Page Brake has partnered with Fleet Brake to lead the company’s U.S. operations.

“We look forward to expanding our network to service the Rocky Mountain region. We intend to maintain and build on Page Brake’s history and reputation of service and dependability,” says John Bzeta, Fleet Brake president.
