Link Suspensions of Canada acquires Raydan assets

Link Suspensions of Canada announced the completion of its acquisition of the assets of Raydan Manufacturing Inc. of Nisku, Alberta Canada. Link says the acquisition, terms of which were not announced, further expands its participation in the heavy- and medium-duty Truck and trailer markets, along with other commercial and vocational vehicles as a component supplier to OEMs and the aftermarket.

The Raydan division of Link Suspensions of Canada will continue production and chassis modifications operations in Nisku, Alberta. Link will provide engineering, manufacturing and management support from its headquarters in Sioux Center, Iowa.
Raydan is a manufacturer of vocational, specialty and heavy-duty suspensions and coupling devices. Primary product offerings include the Air Link walking beam suspension, the Easy Slider sliding kingpin system and the Air Link for tandem steer applications. Raydan have installed many of these in its modification center in Nisku.

“For more than 20 years, Raydan has filled industry requests for twin-steer and heavy-haul applications for specialty and vocational trucks and trailers on wreckers, fire and rescue vehicles and for military, construction, cranes, oil field service and refuse applications,” says Ray English, Raydan founder and general sales manager for the new Raydan Division of LSC. “We are proud of our accomplishments and capabilities, and we look forward to continuing our growth with Link.”
