Parker Chelsea debuts 899 Series PTO

Parker Chelsea has introduced its new 899 Series PTO, which it says is designed to make PTO and pump installation simpler and more reliable on oil field exploration and maintenance trucks.

The 899 Series features six speed ratios, eight output types and is a constant mesh shifter, Parker says, which is an excellent option for variable displacement piston pump applications.

The company also says the 899 Series utilizes a wet spline system that lubricates the mating PTO and pump shafts. Parker says this can increase the life of these components seven to 10 times longer than a dry mating connection.
