Aftermarket fuel tank with online configuration tool

Updated Mar 23, 2012

Alliance Truck Parts announces the availability of new aftermarket cylindrical fuel tanks offered with an online configuration tool.

Scott Henry, Alliance product segment manager, says the tanks are targeted primarily to truck owners and fleets in need of a replacement tank after a wreck or those looking for an upgrade from their original equipment.

The online configuration program allows customers to spec their tank and spits out a corresponding part number, Alliance says. A printable ticket would then be taken to any Freightliner, Sterling or Western Star dealer, though the tank is compatible with all truck makes.

Alliance says the configuration tool is available at alliancetruckparts.com and allows customers to specify truck make, tank capacity, finish and fill-neck placement.
