Amsoil says it has reformulated its Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease and Synthetic Water-Resistant Grease to provide improved protection and performance in a wide range of applications. Both have calcium sulfonate complex thickeners formulated to allow for improved extreme-pressure properties, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, high-temperature stability and water resistance.
Amsoil Synthetic Water-Resistant Grease is an extreme-pressure grease formulated for wet-duty performance and to provide added film strength, shear resistance, adhesion properties and mechanical stability. Amsoil Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease is formulated with oil-soluble extreme-pressure additives for heavy loads; oxidation and corrosion inhibitors are added for oxidation stability, a high-temperature dropping point and low-temperature torque value and pumping capability.
