Euclid ClutchTo further expand its complete solutions offering to aftermarket customers, Meritor Inc. has unveiled its line of 14-in. and 15.5-in. clutches in standard and easy-pedal effort models, designed for medium- and heavy-duty trucks. Meritor says both models will be available under the company’s Euclid brand through North American distribution centers.

The clutches offer end-users a 24-month/unlimited mileage warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

Meritor says the Euclid clutches are manufactured new, so no core charge or core handling expense exists.

Features of the Euclid clutch offerings are said to include:

  • The VelveTouch ceramic clutch buttons
  • An easy adjuster permitting fast, single-motion adjustment (standard on all 15.5-in. easy pedal effort models);
  • All disc springs are treated with a cryogenic process, which greatly extends disc spring life
