PSI to host French student for internship

Alexis Ciosco, an engineering student completing his sophomore year at ECAM Rennes, France will be joining Pressure Systems International at its San Antonio headquarters as an intern learning the manufacturing disciplines of a successful small U.S. manufacturing company this summer.

ECAM Rennes’ requirements for graduation include three months learning outside of France and Alexis’ time at PSI will be credited towards that goal.

Frank Sonzala, executive vice president for PSI will host Ciosco during his stay in San Antonio.

“We have a unique environment here at PSI that enables everyone to share in developing best practices in our total operations,” Sonzala says. “The company was founded on four cornerstones that are followed everyday by everyone that works here: Attitude is Everything, Never Give Up, Dare to Soar and What Ever it Takes. Because of those tenants for which each employee carries a coin, we find improvements continuously that benefit the company and our customers.  We are excited to have the chance to share our experiences with students exploring a career in manufacturing, as Alexis is doing. We are sure his time here will be well spent.”

PSI says it expects to expand its intern program to offer other students, both domestic and international, the opportunity to learn the manufacturing disciplines that have made them successful.
