Phillips Industries adds trio

Updated May 30, 2012

Phillips Industries has added three territory sales managers in its latest effort to increase its sales and technical support network. Joining Phillips as territory sales managers are Nick Chelman in the Southeast region, Thomas Lewis in the South Atlantic region and Kent Crymes in the Southern region.

Chelman has spent his career in the commercial vehicle industry, most recently as hydraulic cylinder/track rebuild shop supervisor with Kelly Tractor Company of Miami.

Lewis joins Phillips from Great Dane Trailers, where he held the position of national account manager in the Charlotte, N.C. area.

Crymes comes to Phillips after spending time in the sales and customer service areas of the financial and health care industries.

“One of our most important goals over the last couple of years has been to increase the number of people in the field calling on both fleets and our distributors,” says Randy Walker, director of aftermarket sales for Phillips. “Our company and our products are well thought of in the industry but we knew we needed more people with direct contact with our customers in order to give them the best service available. We have been working diligently to fill that need.”
