Parker Hannifin offers forged-body glycol control valves

The Fluid Control Division of Parker Hannifin offers its glycol control valves in a completely forged body design that features a one-piece valve body with machined hose end connections to eliminate leak points. The two-way normally closed valves can be incorporated into the vehicle’s heating and cooling system to regulate accessory equipment such as cab heating systems, urea tank heaters on selective catalytic reduction systems and any other auxiliary system where control of glycol or other water-based media is required.

The valves are constructed with brass bodies and EPDM seals and are available in 12 and 24 VDC. They can operate in the pressure range from 3 to 44 PSI (0.2 to 3 bar) with an ambient temperature range from -40 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit and media temperature range from -40 to 230 degrees Fahrenheit. The watertight electrical connection is IP67- and IP6K9K-rated with the proper mating connectors installed.
