Sloan Transportation Products Ltd. has launched its MaxxGreen line of environmentally friendly products for the heavy-duty trucking industry. The company says the first two products being introduced are MaxxClean super-concentrate all-purpose cleaner and MaxxAbsorb floor cleaner and general absorbent. Sloan says both product lines are certified eco-friendly.
“As more and more of our customers and the industry are working toward compliance with existing and developing regulations around environmental responsibility, we felt it was important to begin introducing products that support that philosophy,” says Thomas Bronz, Sloan president. “Sloan is committed to doing what’s best for our customers, our industry and our community, and we feel that our MaxxGreen line is another strong step in that direction.”
MaxxClean has been formulated in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide a safer, more environmentally preferable alternative to existing cleaning products without sacrificing performance, Sloan says.
MaxxAbsorb is said to be the safe, green choice for cleanup of hazardous liquid spills, including oils, fuels, solvents and chemicals. It is a universal absorbent that Sloan says is four times more absorbent than clay, ash, or sawdust.
