InventHelp announces an inventor in North Carolina has created a product designed to improve fuel economy called the trailer gap modifier.
According to InventHelp, the device greatly reduces trailer gap and keeps trailers from creating a second front for wind. It features a flexible design and InventHelp says it can be easily installed on different tractor and trailer combinations.
The inventor’s professional experience motivated the idea, InventHelp says. “I started thinking about the idea when I was listening to a fuel presentation that my company was putting on,” he says. “They wanted us to move our fifth wheels as close as possible to save fuel.”
InventHelp says the original design is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
