Mitchell 1 awards SuperTech champion

Mitchell 1 has awarded Christopher Barnett of Ryder Systems, the Grand Champion of TMC’s SuperTech 2012-National Technician Skills Competition, a subscription that will allow him to access Mitchell 1’s online service information for a full year.

Mitchell 1 says its trio of programs — Tractor-Trailer.net, Medium-Truck.net and Repair-Connect.net — have all the information required to diagnose and repair all makes of Class 4-8 vehicles.

“Since this is a competition that measures a technician’s skills, we are happy to make this valuable contribution to Christopher as another tool to enhance his overall skills,” says Dan Kincaid, Mitchell 1 senior technical editor. “We believe this Mitchell 1 subscription will continue to pay dividends throughout the coming year for both Christopher and his company.”

Mitchell 1 has been a sponsor of the SuperTech national competitions since its inception seven years ago. Each year Mitchell 1 runs the Service Information skills station, testing competitors on their ability to use computers and web-based programs to diagnose and fix vehicles properly.
