Phillips displays expanded global capabilities at IAA

Updated Sep 21, 2012

Phillips Industries, a provider of coiled electrical and air systems for trucks and trailers, announced it is exhibiting at the Hanover IAA Commercial Vehicle Show being held Sept. 20-27, showcasing products and capabilities designed and developed to meet the needs of its growing global customer base.

Phillips has factories in the United States, Mexico and China. To meet global demands for ISO and SAE products, the company recently added a European distribution center and sales team. Based in Naarden, The Netherlands, Phillips says it now is able to supply products to all of Europe quickly and cost-effectively.

Phillips says it also has appointed a sales team with years of successful growth in Europe, one that effectively communicates the innovation and product quality that the company brings to the market.

“European expansion is a natural extension for Phillips,” said Rob Phillips, vice president of global operations. “Global truck and trailer OEMs are looking for global suppliers. Our partnerships with OEMs in North America, Southeast Asia and beyond help our global customers reduce their vendor base. Now OEMs from around the globe have access to the most recognized brand in coiled electrical and vehicle harness systems.”
