Meritor recognizes aftermarket parts distributors

Updated Nov 8, 2012

Meritor says three of its aftermarket customers have been recognized in a national “Drive to 100 Store Décor” contest to improve their retail store showroom décor.

The winners were: Colton Truck Supply (Brent Heller), Montrose, Colo.; Total Truck Parts (Dennis Imbody), Ft. Myers, Fla.; and Tracey Freightliner (Neil Kessler), East Syracuse, N.Y.

“Congratulations to all our customers who entered the contest,” says Terry Livingston, general manager, North America, Aftermarket, Meritor. “It was a fun activity, and we were impressed with the entrants. All were quite energized to shape up their retail storefront, many in their off-hours. We’re very grateful to recognize such loyal customers who go the extra mile in supplying end-users with quality service and replacement parts.”

Entries to the contest were judged on prominence, creativity, impact of initiative and appropriateness, Meritor says.

“Our entire crew of people had fun pulling it together, and our Meritor display looked very cool and will stay up in our showroom for a month or so,” says Tom Gibson of Total Truck Parts.
