Minimizer’s Kruckeberg wins award

Craig Kruckeberg, CEO and chief visionary officer at Minimizer, has been named the Upsize Business Builder of the Year.

The Upsize Business Builder Awards provide an annual contest to recognize entrepreneurs for leading smart, sustainable growth. Kruckeberg was named one of three finalists last year and presented his story to the award’s judges in December.

Since purchasing Minimizer from his parents in 2005, Kruckeberg has helped lead Minimizer to the forefront of the commercial vehicle component industry. He has grown the company’s marketing budget from a $400 magazine advertisement in 2005 to $1.6 million in 2013.

“I never could have gotten here — correction, we never could have gotten here — without the solid management team we built that steered the Minimizer ship,” Kruckeberg says.

Minimizer is on track to post record revenue this year, and the company says its retooled website, growing network of 850 distributors and significant investments in innovative technology and manufacturing equipment all point to a continued upward trend for the company.

“We couldn’t have gotten to this level without the hard work of every member of our team,” Kruckeberg says.
