Fram participating at UPTIME Conference

Luber-finerFRAM Filtration announces its Luber-finer brand of heavy-duty filters is participating at the Volvo/Mack UPTIME 2013 Conference this week in New Orleans, La., and the HDA Truck Pride annual membership meeting next week (May 1-5) in Orlando.

Since June 2012, Luber-finer has introduced 140 new filtration products for use in on-road and off-road applications, helping Luber-finer gain momentum throughout the industry, the company says.

At the events Luber-finer will feature its new, innovative Time Release Technology (TRT) Oil Filter line, which has been specifically engineered to help reduce escalating fleet-maintenance costs and help heavy-duty fleets extend oil-change intervals by increasing the protection against oil degradation in modern diesel engines, the company says. Luber-finer says TRT oil filters provide a controlled release of a specially formulated, highly concentrated liquid additive into the oil supply, helping oil maintain its quality longer.

Luber-finer also is showcasing its soon-to-be-released line of high-performance Extreme Clean Premium Cabin Air Filters. Designed to eliminate allergens such as bacteria, pollen, smog, dust and exhaust that may be entering the vehicle through the ventilation system, Luber-finer says its Extreme Clean air filters feature innovative odor absorption and carbon activation technology that provides cleaner and fresher cabin air like never before. The filters are rated with a capability to remove 99.5 percent of allergen contaminates from outside air, the company says.
