“The beauty of [this new tool] is it’s incredible torque output of 230 ft. lbs. compared to about 110 ft. lbs. for most of the competitive units, plus it uses the same battery and charger as our full size 18 volt CT7850 impact,” says Rodger Isetts, product manager for Snap-on. “Because of its ergonomic design and soft grip handles, service technicians can use it all day without getting fatigued.”
The new wrench also provides the flexibility of working cordless and has an 18-volt lithium battery with a digital fuel gauge and micro-controller to sense temperature and amperage, cutting off power to the motor before it can overheat, Snap-on says.
