Goodyear to promote aftermarket package at GATS

Fleets and owner-operators will get a first-hand look at Goodyear’s Total Package Solution at the Great American Trucking Show next week in Dallas.

Goodyear’s GATS booth (19099) will showcase the Total Package Solution, which is designed “to help trucking operations lower their total cost of ownership,” says Brian Buckham, marketing manager, Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems. In addition to the booth, a new mobile app that helps truck drivers connect with Goodyear commercial truck tire dealers for emergency roadside service also will make its debut at the show.

Among the products Goodyear says it will display at its booth are three SmartWay-verified tires and the company’s FleetHQ business solutions portfolio, which is designed to offer a comprehensive line-up of services and solutions to help lower fleet costs.

“These elements are part of Goodyear’s Total Package Solution, which is by far, the most comprehensive array of products, services and tools in the commercial trucking industry,” says Buckham. “In today’s hyper-competitive business environment, trucking operations of all sizes – from mega-fleets to small fleets and owner-operators – are looking for every possible advantage to help drive down their operating costs.  Everything we offer is designed to help our customers achieve this goal, which in turn, will boost their bottom lines.
