Phillips Industries has introduced a new trailer brake in-line filtration system with Quick-Change Cartridge the company says traps debris before it can cause damage.
The AIR-DEFENSE System’s Quick-Change Cartridge, featuring a bypass mode to ensure air flow at all times, catches debris before it can enter the trailer air lines and brake valves, causing damage. When the cartridge is full, a red indicator pops out giving a quick visual notification to a technician or operator that it needs to be replaced. Replacement of the cartridge is accomplished in minutes without added downtime to the vehicle, Phillips says.
The patent-pending AIR-DEFENSE System, designed and assembled in the U.S., can be used on both service and emergency lines. Both the AIR-DEFENSE System (Part No. 12-815) and Quick-Change Cartridges (Part No. 12-035) can be purchased through authorized Phillips’ distributors.
