Gabriel makes improvements to FleetLine, GasSLX lines

Gabriel has updated its FleetLine and GasSLX shocks to improve corrosion resistance and improve misting.

FleetLineAn improved anti-corrosion coating now protects mountings where shock absorbers attach to the vehicle chassis. Jonathan Gore, director of marketing for Gabriel, says it was common for fleets to have to cut heavily corroded shocks off trucks, previously. This new coating, he adds, was designed to make removal a faster process.

Gabriel also improved the misting-reduction seal on FleetLine and GasSLX shocks. Gore says the improved seal reduces the amount of oil lost through misting by 70 percent over the life of the shock, which leads to improved life and performance.
