New LED low-bay shop light from Larson Electronics

Larson Electronics introduces a 150-watt low-bay LED light fixture that produces a 140° beam spread, making it ideal for areas with shallow ceilings, producing a much wider light spread throughout an area.

The EPL-HB-150LED-RT-140DB explosion-proof low-bay light fixture provides operators with a powerful and energy efficient alternative to traditional hazardous location luminaires, the company says. It is a Class 1 Division 1 & 2, Class 2 Division 1 & 2 explosion proof LED light fixture, and provides 13,000 lumens of high-quality light while drawing only 150 watts of power. Larson Electronics says the copper free aluminum alloy body is powder coated for added durability and aesthetics, and a special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80 percent lumen retention.
