Snap-on updates eTechnician tool

Snap-on released an update to its NEXIQ eTechnician product Sunday at ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting in Atlanta.

The company says its NEXIQ eTechnician 2.0 is an enhancement to its 2015 solution designed for large fleets using OEM diagnostic tools in their shops. Updated features include proprietary OEM engine and transmission information, its clouded vehicle history platform and bi-directional support that enables technicians to perform DPF regens, aftertreatment resets and update other changeable vehicle parameters. Snap-on says clouded vehicle history serves as a cloud-based vehicle maintenance log and enables technicians to view prior service event information and added current services and work.  NEXIQ has been a Snap-on company since 2002.
