AMBAC International, a manufacturer since 1910, announces its Aftermarket Division has been rebranded as Zillion Heavy Duty Parts. This strategic move positions the aftermarket division to become a stand-alone company later in 2024.
To achieve the objective of establishing Zillion Heavy Duty Parts as a stand-alone company, AMBAC International has entered into a strategic partnership with the Heavy Duty Consulting Corporation in the form of a joint venture. Jamie Irvine, CEO of the Heavy Duty Consulting Corporation, expresses enthusiasm about the joint venture, "We're excited to leverage the resources at our disposal to set Zillion Heavy Duty Parts up for long-term success. Our consultants have decades of experience in heavy-duty parts distribution and will be facilitating this transition.β
Zillion Heavy Duty Parts says it will continue to focus on fuel-related parts like injectors, pumps, and fuel accessories but has also begun expanding the product portfolio to include after treatment and other under the hood bolt on parts like oil pans.
"In 2023, it became evident that for our company to continue succeeding over the next 100 years, we needed to do things differently," says Robert Isherwood, CEO of AMBAC International. "Our commitment to domestic manufacturing, which includes manufacturing for the United States and Allied Defense Sector through our Department of Defense division, requires a focused strategy. Partnering with the Heavy Duty Consulting Corporation has allowed us to position our aftermarket division as a stand-alone company in 2024, giving AMBAC International the ability to focus on its manufacturing roots.β
Scott Boltz, director of Consulting Services at the Heavy Duty Consulting Corporation, adds, βThe expansion of the product portfolio at Zillion is critical for the long-term success of this division. Heavy-duty parts distributors are looking for suppliers who can provide them with a wide range of products with inventory available to ship when needed.β
Effective Jan. 1, 2024, Zillion Heavy Duty Parts officially became its own brand, launched a revamped website, and exhibited for the first time at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Grapevine, Texas, last week, which provided distributors with an opportunity to get updated literature and learn about the new products that are now available from Zillion.
