Great Dane announced Thursday the company’s Elysburg, Pa., manufacturing plant has produced its 25,000th trailer since opening in 2016.
The Elysburg team manufactures Great Dane’s Champion dry vans — recognized for exceptional construction and for setting the standard in strength and reliability across the transportation industry. This milestone trailer is on its way to Walmart, a partnership that reflects Great Dane’s ongoing commitment to excellence, efficiency, and safety, the company says.
Jeff Campbell, Elysburg Plant Manager, expressed his pride in the team’s efforts.
"I’m incredibly proud of the hard work, resilience, and dedication this milestone represents," he says. "I hope that every time our team sees a Great Dane trailer on the road, they feel a sense of pride in being part of a company that plays a significant role in helping people get the products they need for daily living."
"This milestone is a remarkable accomplishment for our entire team. I’m so thankful for the hard work they put in every day, giving their best and working together to build the best dry van trailers on the road. We’re proud to celebrate this achievement and we’re looking forward to reaching even greater milestones in the future," adds Matthew Russell, operations manager at Great Dane Elysburg.
