The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):

  • Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Freightliner Custom Chassis XCM, 2022-2025 Custom Chassis XCR, 2024 Custom Chassis XBS, and 2024-2025 Custom Chassis XCS chassis, equipped with certain Cummins L9 diesel engines. The remote fuel filter hoses may separate from the fitting, causing a fuel leak and an engine stall. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 277 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Mack Trucks is recalling certain 2010-2018 MRU and 2019-2025 Terrapro towing vehicles. The vehicles are missing the anti-lock brake (ABS) warning light and circuitry that controls the anti-lock brake function for an attached trailer. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air Brake Systems." Driving without a functioning anti-lock brake system may result in the trailer not braking as intended, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 142 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America is recalling certain 2024 FEC7K and FEC9K trucks. The chassis harness may have been improperly sealed. Water intrusion can shut down the EV system, causing a loss of drive power. NHTSA says 233 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Winnebago Towable is recalling certain 2025 Winnebago Minnie travel trailers. The cooktop flame may invert when the stove and furnace are operated at the same time. An inverted cooktop flame increases the risk of injury or fire. NHTSA says 144 units are potentially affected by the recall.
