Platform Science is now a telematics provider for Eaton's IntelliConnect's remote diagnostic technology for automated transmissions, Eaton announced Monday.

IntelliConnect provides near real-time monitoring of vehicle fault codes, delivering action plans from experts to reduce unplanned downtime and accelerating the diagnosis of necessary repairs, the company says.

"With the integration of Platform Science Fleet Solutions, we are responding directly to our customers' requests for more choices in vehicle data providers. Platform Science's telematics complements IntelliConnect's diagnostic features, Eaton Says, offering fleet operators more options and flexibility. The integration ensures fleet managers can access vehicle data for decision making and maintenance planning, Eaton says.
