Who’s in the news: Our weekly trucking employment report

The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Dec. 4, 2023:

  • Great Dane has appointed Greg Dickman as executive vice president of strategy.
  • Summer Craze Fowler has joined Torc Robotics as the chief information security officer.
  • Kevin Nowlan, executive vice president and CFO at BorgWarner, will retire March 1. He will be succeeded by Craig Aaron, the vice president and controller. 
  • Premier Truck Rental welcomed Kelly Genzlinger as its new chief information officer. 
  • TopMark Funding has hired George Martin as director of accounting. 
  • MEMA announced its new chairman, board members, and executive committee for 2024. Newly elected chairman is Kurk Wilks, president and CEO, Mann + Hummel; the executive committee is First Vice Chairman: Jon Husby, president and CEO, ADAC; Second Vice Chairman: Eric Steinbecher, president automotive aftermarket – Americas, Schaeffler; Treasurer: Dominic Grote, president & CEO, Grote Industries, LLC; Immediate Past Chair/Officer: Marc Blackman, CEO, Gold Eagle; and President: Bill Long, CEO, MEMA, The Vehicle Suppliers Association. New board members are Jason Gerding, executive vice president, Transportation Products Group, Marmon; and John Hanighen, president and CEO, Cloyes.
