Jason Wilder, COO of Rush Enterprises, resigned his position recently to pursue other opportunities.

Rush says the resignation was not because of a disagreement "regarding any matter relating to the company's operations, policies or practices."

Michael J. McRoberts, the former COO and a senior advisor and member of the Rush board of directors, will step in to help until the company can transition to a new executive. He retired in 2024.

Prior to his stint as COO, Wilder was the senior vice president, International dealerships; regional general manager of the Georgia region; and regional general manager of North Carolina dealerships. He initially joined Rush in 2006 as general manager of the Atlanta medium-duty dealership.

"Jason has a tremendous depth of knowledge of commercial vehicle dealership operations and has demonstrated strong leadership ability since the first day he joined our company," W.M. "Rusty" Rush, chairman of the board of directors, CEO and president of Rush, said when Wilder was appointed COO in 2024.
