The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of April 19, 2026:

  • American Transportation Research Institute president Rebecca Brewster announced she will retire next year after 34 years with the organization.
  • Stephen Roy, president of Mack Trucks, is set to retire. He will be succeeded by Wilson Lirmann, currently heading Volvo Trucks Latin America.
  • Four Star Freightliner has announced the 2026 recipients of the Zachary Sizemore Memorial Scholarship. Sizemore worked in the company’s Dothan, Ala., location and passed away from cancer in 2016. This year’s winners are:
    • Kaitlyn Connally, Stanhope Elmore High School, granddaughter of Warranty Director Michael Klamer
    • Elizabeth Centerfitt, Crisp County High School, daughter of Service Advisor Michelle Centerfitt
    • Lila Ingram, Lee-Scott Academy, daughter of New Truck and GUR Sales Manager Truman Ingram
    • Seth Fryer, Headland High School, son of Credit and Collections Manager Crystal Owens
